Haley Havelock brings passion and skillful sequencing to Glo

As the first of four new teachers welcomed to Glo this season, we are thrilled to introduce Haley Havelock! Below, get to know Haley through her letter to the Glo community.

Hi Glo!

My name is Haley Havelock, and I’m thrilled and honored to be joining this vibrant community of yoga, movement, and meditation enthusiasts. Based in Oakland, California, I’ve been teaching yoga full-time since 2017, both in person throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (and beyond!) and online. My goal as a teacher is to create an inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable environment where everyone feels welcome and valued, regardless of their level or background.

My teaching style is known for its inspirational approach, sense of humor, skillful sequencing, and perfect balance of challenge and ease. I weave authentic, applicable yoga philosophy into my classes, honed through studies with my primary teachers: Ram Dass, Jason Crandell, and Stephanie Snyder. As a devoted student myself, I am committed to continually learning and growing, drawing inspiration from others in the Glo community, like Tias Little and Tiffany Cruikshank.

In my classes, you can expect a blend of challenging and restorative practices designed to help you connect deeply with your body, breath, mind, and soul. I aim to foster a sense of community and cultivate gratitude, encouraging students to appreciate the gift of embodiment and to approach life with a positive, open heart.

Outside the studio, I’m an outdoor enthusiast who loves backpacking, camping, hiking, cycling, and fly fishing. I’m also a home cook, a proud dog mom, a music lover, an avid reader, and a knitter. My mission is to extend the transformative power of yoga to as many people as possible, both on and off the mat.

I can’t wait to share this journey with you and look forward to seeing you in class!

With Love,

Haley Havelock
