Dharma Series with Marc Holzman

Marc Holzman Dharma Series

If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to practice yoga with Marc Holzman, we can’t think of a better way than to commit to taking his four part Dharma Series. From focusing on loving your life to finding the courage to make your dreams come true, Marc’s powerful series touches on all the cornerstones of living a truly meaningful life.

Here’s a sneak peek at all that awaits you:

  • Dharma Series One – Courage to Follow Your Dreams: Having the courage to express and manifest your deepest dreams takes great courage and the first step in shaping what your duty is in this life. We will fly like … pigeons! Strong flow for the first half of the class and very deep thigh opener series at the wall will bring us to full Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana.
  • Dharma Series Two – Fulfillment vs. Achievement: In this second in series of four classes exploring the topic of Dharma, we address the difference between Fulfillment (WHO you want to BE in this world) vs. Achievement (WHAT you want to DO in this world). Fulfillment from the inside out translates in the body as Opening to Grace. This UPA is our focus as we sequence towards the arm balances Eka Pada Galavasana and Dragonfly. Strong, steady, quiet flow to warm up.
  • Dharma Series Three – Falling in Love with Your Life: Mastering the Art of Falling in Love with your Life. In dharma class #3 we redefine what a Master Class truly is by using Devotion and Surrender (Root to Rise aka Organic Energy) to bring us skillfully into drop back backbends.
  • Dharma Series Four – Meaningful Boundaries for a Sacred Experience: With selected readings from the Gita, this class (#4 in the series) explores how our practice sharpens our focus and teaches us the power of discrimination. A slow flow with a wide leg press-up handstand as our peak pose. Stability = Freedom!

If you are looking to expand your yoga practice in a new direction, explore a different teacher, or soak up a new perspective on living a life you love, Marc’s Dharma series might be just the thing. Enjoy!
