In this Pose of the Week, Tiffany Cruikshank walks us through Heron Pose or Krounchasana. As you come into this pose, make sure that the heel is pointing straight up so that the top of the foot is flat on the floor – this is important so that you’re not putting torque on the knee. Since this is a very deep quad and hamstring opener, Tiffany recommends some good leg work and opening the quads and hamstrings to prepare.
