Head-to-Knee Forward Bend


In this Pose of the Week, Felicia walks us through Head-to-Knee Forward Bend or Janu Sirsasana. This is a great stretch for the hamstrings, the lower back and the rest of the spine. She reminds us that as we get ready to fold forward, the spine needs to be long and the shoulders soft – the length of the spine is far more important than how close we come to the leg or to the floor.
